We are a small, veteran owned, family business. We strive to provide our customers with delicious, fun foods that will not only last a REALLY long time, but can be enjoyed anywhere. Our Story
We started our journey here at BZS looking for a long-term solution to store food. We had the canning experience, we tried the dehydration game. But we just weren't happy with our end products. While home canning is great, and so is dehydrating food, both of those methods of preservation degrade the quality and nutrition of the food. Now that's not to say they don't have their places, they do. Ever tried canned beef jerky? When's the last time you had a dehydrated pickle? Exactly. Each has role it can fill. But when it comes to general food preservation, we just didn't think those methods were good enough.
Did you know that freeze-dried food retains 97% of its nutritional value and can be stored for up to 25 years or more? Well neither did we until we started doing the research!

And once we tried freeze-dried foods we were hooked. Rehydrated freeze-dried food is often exactly like the original product. But what about foods that don't rehydrate well or you want to consume the freeze-dried food as is? Well that's when inspiration struck us.

Some foods don't rehydrate well, for various reasons, and others are unique and delicious by being eaten in their freeze-dried form. Turns out lots of types of candy are simply AMAZING once freeze-dried! Freeze-drying turns an already fun food into something out of this world.
